Freeport-McMoran Water Rights
Note: The type 1 rights [Permit No. 58-1000316.0015] are tied to the land, though in some circumstances water may be withdrawn from the type 1 land and used in another location. The type 2 rights are, in effect, tied to land only through whatever wells are listed on the type 2 certificates. Freeport mainly uses their large type 2 right rights for pumping their water supply, including the withdrawals from the Canoa well field.
